“Wonder is a state of mind somewhere between knowledge and uncertainty. It is the basis of my practice and results in images that are simultaneously familiar and strange. I utilize everyday objects and fundamental forces to illustrate experiences of wonder”

Dirty Cash

While replacing my 4 month old faulty apple, had a peep at Insa’s latest exhibit at bond street’s Flawless Gallery.
Could certainly look but no touch.
Most of them if not all were spray-paint on canvas.

…the esoteric

elmo

trewz.com is now 1 Year old!. It’s been a whole year since I started this blog and the archives are building up!

Esoteric
–adjective

  1. understood by or meant for only the select few who have special knowledge or interest; recondite: poetry full of esoteric allusions.
  2. belonging to the select few.
  3. private; secret; confidential.
  4. (of a philosophical doctrine or the like) intended to be revealed only to the initiates of a group: the esoteric doctrines of Pythagoras.

With that definition, thats what this site is all about;
My personal log up on the net available for others to read… only if they are interested.
Which is why I don’t really tell people “hey check out my site”, I like for them to find it for themselves… somehow..
not only is it interesting to see who checks out the blog it’s also nice to see who “shares that specific interest” using search strings and tags that link to this site.

Starting off, the views where quite small but then as the year went went on they were increasing view by view.

Here are some of the stats from the year.

  • A total of 95 posts
  • A total of 9430 views
  • An average of 25/30 views a day (Based on an average)

  • most views in one week, 427 (this week!!)
  • most views in one month, 1420 (June 08)

One year gone and many more to come.

JET SET RADIO FUTURE!!

Like one of my favorite games on the xbox, when they added this to the xbox 360 throwback list I went crazy.SEGA you need to make another version

jet set radio future sound trackjs

The soundtrack to this games is mental too, The Prune (Beastie), Jurassic 5 to name a few

composed of Electonic, Hiphop, Trip hop, J-Pop, it’s worth a buy but i bet i know were you can get it for free..

Similar to the original, it depicts a future Tokyo where freedom of expression is outlawed. The user plays a character in the GG’s, a gang of rollerblading graffiti artists who skate around Tokyo covering up rival gangs’ graffiti, knocking over Rokkaku police, and dancing to the eclectic soundtrack. The game uses the cel-shaded style of animation, and has been widely acclaimed for its unique music stylings, detailed art, and fun gameplay.

Gilbert & George

So I’m on my way up to brick lane to meet a friend, call him up and he says he’s at Gilbert & George’s house, I thought he was on about a Pub of some sort…

Meet up with him now and he tells me that he was actually talking about Gilbert & George, the artists and that he saw them at Cafe in Brick Lane and he tried to get a autograph but instead they invited him back to their house just around the corner for some tea and they gave him a copy of their latest Book!!

I am so Jealous!
