“Mess” Up Your Plans Like a Blind man Lookout.

Recent speculations of the super-villain returning with a new album, “born into this“, got me real excited.
The album was slated to drop on the 21st of last month but now is TBA which is a bit of a fail but hopefully worth the wait.

DOOM covers Waxpoetics’, latest issue which has finally hit some bookstores in London (Borders for one) for a hefty £7.95.
Includes an interview with DOOM about life behind the mask and also sheds some light on the “DOOMPOSTER” controversy.

Finally it came!
Madvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix Limited Editon Box
with the prequel not in mind, this “reworking” of madvillainy is good in its own way.

Some might say its sacrilege to revisit a classic album like Madvillainy. You know, like George Lucas messing around with Star Wars and digitally inserting Jabba The Hut rapping with Han Solo. But Madlib’s never been one to respect convention - and he made this one for headphone listening before a ten-hour plane ride to Tokyo. But this reworking (we hate to say remix) was so good that, after we sat with it for a while, we decided that we had to make it available”

Obsession

If you knew how many times I have listened to “Money Folder” In the last 48 hours you probably wouldn’t even be on this site..

Featured: Trewz.com interviews Opio

One part of the infamous “Souls of Mischief” who rocked it from 93 ’til infinity, a member of the underground hip hop super-group “Hieroglyphics” along side Casual & Del The Funky Homosapien And Veteran in the game for more than fifteen years, Opio Lindsey is definitely no stranger to Hip Hop.

With the recent release of his sophomore album, “Vulture’s Wisdom Vol.1″, Opio collaborated with David Flores (XLarge, Stussy, Kid Robot) to whip up one ill album cover and worked closely with Oakland-Based Producer The Architect (Stones Throw, Planet Asia, Encore) to the heavy bass throbbing beats.

I was able to snap up an interview with Opio himself, to get some info about the new album and what to expect from the hiero imperium in the near future.

“Where others saw nothing we saw food, we was like, ‘We can eat right here’. So we swooped in with the vulture’s wisdom and brought this music”

“Ya mom is so fat (how fat is she?)”

Probably one of their most fun singles! Ya Mama got it at RT the other day!

Awwwwwwww, ya mom is so fat (how fat is she?)
We rode up on her back to get some burgers from Wendy’s
and her skates went flat; I got stuck in her butt crack
They thought I was lost but I was caught by the G-strap
Heaven forbid a giant fart would give way
Cause that would blow me round the world in a day
We drove into the drive-in and she didn’t have to pay
because we dressed her up to look just like a Chevrolet

This is the Order

This is a pretty cool book, some guy handed me a copy while I was on the train the other day. It’s a quarterly publication that celebrates the artists of the world “in action sports and beyond” in works with Relentless Energy Drink.

The First issue has been out for a month now, very fancy looking for a free publication. The Issue among loads, features Danger Mouse, skating prodigy Biyala from South Africa and a 6-paged comic on Michelangelo Merisi da caravaggio aka “M”

The Book is available to read online but like most things it’s better when you have them in hand
