Got my copy of Lyrics Born New album, “Everywhere at Once”, his seventh solo LP (including the variety shows) and it just sounds great, listened to it six times over already.
I’m pretty used to hearing albums by artists get a little weaker and weaker as they come but with LB they’re just as hip, funky and soulful as the last! Which is indeed what I love about LB, they way he mixes all these sounds together, assisted by the lovely Joyo Verlade to create these unique sounds and not to mention the humorous skits.
Also LB should be playing at this years O2 wireless Festival, hopefully I Can get a ticket!
Every track is hot on this album but it was to pick, my favorites it would be:
