It’s been London’s most popular skate spot for over 30 years, attracting skaters all over the UK, hosting incredible and unifying events such as the Crossfire 7-set Jam and also a site of amazing graffiti art, with fears of retail development will destroy the undercroft, even with Ken Livingston’s plans to get Skateboarding in 2012 Olympics.
The Film ”Save Southbank” will be premiere on 7th Feb at Leicester Square Prince Charles Cinema.
Tickets are free but you must got them from Slam City Skates,
(16 Neal’s Yard,
Covent Garden,
London,

And some footage of just a pinch of what went down that memorable night..

Gone in 60 seconds
If your hungry and you got £6.50 in change you can do two things, go to mickey D’s and get like two large Big Mac Meals or…… go to your local Chinese and get bumped for some Crispy Aromatic Duck, 6 Pancakes & lovely Hoisin sauce!
and that exactly what I did and if I had another £6.50 I’d do it again and again and again…
How I admire the Orient

Here is my take on ”Numbers In Love” by Giacomo Balla for my case study. Not absolutely finished still some white bits showing and didn’t come out as well as I expected, think I chose the wrong paint but hey ho!

And of course The Original

Here is one of my concept sketches for my final piece, I took influences from Jacob Esptein’s ‘Rock Drill’, Futurist, Marcel Duchamp’s ‘Nude Descending a Staircase’ & Christopher R.W Nevinson’s ‘La Mitrailleuse‘.
Through developement, I am aiming for the whole futurist look. Umberto Boccioni is another artist I am studying for influences
